TestimonialScraper

Ecommerce testimonials where shoppers make up their mind

Shoppers read reviews on Google, Trustpilot and social networks before they trust a store they do not know. TestimonialScraper brings those public reviews to your product pages, cart and checkout, picks the quotes about the doubts shoppers really have and links every quote to its source.

The right review at the moment of doubt

A shopper on a product page wonders about fit and quality. A shopper in the cart wonders about delivery and returns. A first time visitor wonders whether the store is real. TestimonialScraper groups your reviews by these questions so each page answers the one that matters there.

  • Collects public reviews from Google reviews, Trustpilot, Facebook, Yelp, Reddit, YouTube and X
  • Imports your own review and survey exports that you are entitled to use
  • Removes duplicates when a customer posted the same review twice
  • Scores each quote from 0 to 100 and groups it by topic, such as quality, fit, delivery, packaging or support
  • Shows chosen quotes in widgets and walls with the author as published and a link to the original

How a store sets it up

  1. Add your profiles. Paste your Trustpilot page, your Google business location and any other public profile. See the Trustpilot widget and the Google reviews widget for source details.
  2. Let the register fill. Our review aggregator collects, merges and scores every public review.
  3. Tag products. Map quotes that mention a product to that product, so each product page shows its own praise.
  4. Publish. Add one widget per page type with its topic filter.
  5. Stay current. New reviews arrive with the refresh of your plan and you approve what goes live.

Google reviews come from official place data, which exposes the most recent reviews for each location. Trustpilot and other sources fill in the rest of your history.

Seasonal and campaign pages

Peak season pages, gift guides and paid campaign landing pages need proof fast. Create a widget with a topic filter, such as gifting or delivery speed, and it fills itself from your register. When the campaign ends, delete the widget. Your quotes stay in the register for the next campaign, and the usage you had in that billing period is counted as usual.

Built for ecommerce marketers

  • Direct to consumer brands that collect most reviews on Trustpilot and Google
  • Store owners who want proof on product pages without a separate review app per source
  • Marketplace sellers who also run their own store and want one place for their praise
  • Agencies that manage several stores from one multi-client workspace

Brand covers one store with 4 sources of your choice. Growth covers 3 brands, all 12+ sources and daily refresh. See the pricing page.

Ecommerce testimonials questions

Does this replace my product review app?

It works next to it. Your review app collects new reviews after purchase. TestimonialScraper brings in the public praise you already have on other sites, picks the best quotes and shows them where they help.

Can I show product specific quotes?

Yes. Quotes that mention a product can be mapped to it, and each product page widget shows only those quotes.

Do you show star ratings?

Yes, where the source publishes a rating for that review. Sources without ratings show the quote and the link only.

Can I hide a negative or outdated review?

You choose which quotes appear on your site, and you can hide any quote with one click. Nothing changes on the original review site.

Will the widget slow down my store?

No. The widget loads after your page, is a few kilobytes and serves quotes from a cache.
