TestimonialScraper

Collect testimonials from your forms, NPS and support next to public reviews

Public reviews are only part of the praise you receive. Customers also write kind words in your own testimonial forms, in NPS comments and in support tickets after a problem is solved. TestimonialScraper lets you collect testimonials from those places, check that you have permission to show them, and manage them in the same register as your public reviews.

Praise you already own, in one place

  • Answers from your own testimonial forms, from any form tool that exports CSV
  • NPS comments, with promoters highlighted as testimonial and case study candidates
  • Support ticket exports, where thank you messages often hide strong quotes
  • Any other CSV of feedback you are entitled to use
  • Consent tracked per entry, so only approved quotes can go live

Imported quotes get the same duplicate check, strength score and use case tags as reviews from Google, G2 or the App Store.

Consent comes first

A review posted on a public site is public. A comment in an NPS survey or a support ticket is not, and the customer may not expect to see it on your homepage. That is why every import has a consent field.

Add a consent checkbox to your own forms

Your testimonial form and NPS survey should include one checkbox such as I agree that my answer and name may be shown on your website. Map that column during import and entries without consent are kept out of every widget and wall.

Ask before using support quotes

Support conversations rarely include consent. TestimonialScraper marks those quotes as Needs permission, so you can ask the customer before publishing, then switch the quote to approved.

Show names the way customers agreed

Choose per import whether to show the full name, first name and company, or initials only.

Import your first file

1.

Export from your tool

Export a CSV from your form tool, NPS survey or help desk.

2.

Map the columns

Tell us which column holds the quote, the name, the role, the company, the date and the consent answer.

3.

Review the results

Imported quotes appear with scores and tags. Promoters and the strongest quotes are at the top.

4.

Publish next to public reviews

Approved imports join your widgets and walls. Visitors see them labeled as Customer feedback instead of a public review link.

Who collects testimonials this way

Customer success leads find promoters who would make good case study candidates. SaaS marketers combine NPS comments with G2 reviews for a fuller picture. Service businesses turn thank you emails into proof with permission. If you mainly want to curate and publish everything in one workflow, read about review management tools. Spoken praise from creators is covered by our video testimonial software, and the whole process is laid out on the testimonial software page.

Keep a record of consent

The consent answer is stored with each imported quote and exported with it in CSV, so you can show when and how a customer agreed if anyone ever asks. Customers who agreed to be featured are also the best people to ask for a longer story later.

Collecting testimonials questions

Do you host a testimonial form for us?

We work with the form tool you already use. Export its answers as CSV and import them, with the consent column mapped.

Which help desks and survey tools work?

Any tool that exports CSV. You map the columns once and reuse the mapping for every later import.

Can I import the same file twice?

Yes. Duplicates are recognized and merged, so importing an updated export only adds the new answers.

Do imports count toward my monthly reviews analyzed?

Yes. Every quote analyzed counts toward your plan allowance, from 1,000 per month on Brand to 200,000 on White Label.

Can customers ask to be removed?

Yes. Hide or delete the quote and it leaves every widget and wall on the next refresh. Write to [email protected] if you need help.
