Testimonial software that turns public reviews into proof in six steps
TestimonialScraper is testimonial software that starts from praise your customers already published. You connect the places where people talk about you, we remove the duplicates, score every quote, group it by the job it does on a page and publish it as widgets and walls that stay fresh on their own. This page walks through the six steps from the first source to a live page.
What the software does for your team
Most teams know they have good reviews somewhere. The problem is the work in between: finding them, copying them, checking which are worth showing and keeping the page current when new ones arrive. TestimonialScraper does that editorial work in one workspace and leaves the final choice with you.
- Pulls public reviews from 12+ sources plus the imports you are entitled to use
- Keeps the author as published and a link to the original for every quote
- Never rewrites a review, trims are marked with an ellipsis
- Publishes to any site with one embed code or an export
If you want to see every capability in one place, read the social proof widget tour.
Six steps from source to live page
Connect your sources
Paste your G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, App Store, Google Play or Google Business Profile address, or simply your website. TestimonialScraper finds the matching public profiles and asks you to confirm each one. You can add Reddit threads, X posts, LinkedIn posts and YouTube videos that mention you, and upload your own testimonial form answers, NPS exports and support ticket exports as CSV.
Remove duplicates
The same customer often posts the same praise on two sites, or a review is quoted again in a social post. We compare wording, author and timing across sources and merge the copies into one quote that keeps every source link. The details are explained on the page about how we aggregate reviews.
Score every quote
Each quote gets a strength score from 0 to 100. The score rewards quotes that are specific, name a result, mention a role or a team and are easy to read in one breath. Vague praise such as a single word scores low and stays out of your way.
Group by use case and persona
Quotes are tagged by the job they do (results, setup time, support, value for money, switching from another tool) and by who wrote them (founder, marketing, sales, engineering, support, ecommerce buyer). Your pricing page gets the quote about value, your signup page the quote about setup time.
Publish where you need it
Approve the quotes you like and drop them into a testimonial widget, a full testimonial wall or an export for Webflow, WordPress, HTML, CSV or JSON. Every widget matches your colors and fonts and loads after your page content.
Refresh on its own
New reviews arrive weekly, daily or every 6 hours depending on your plan. New quotes land as New, so nothing goes live until you approve it. Agency and White Label plans also send an alert when a new review appears.
What happens at each step and how long it takes
| Step | What you do | What TestimonialScraper does |
|---|---|---|
| Connect | Paste an address or upload a CSV | Finds matching public profiles and checks what each source allows |
| Remove duplicates | Nothing | Merges repeated quotes and keeps every source link |
| Score | Nothing | Rates each quote from 0 to 100 for clarity and specifics |
| Group | Adjust tags if you want | Tags use case and persona for every quote |
| Publish | Approve quotes and copy one embed code | Builds widgets, walls and exports in your style |
| Refresh | Approve new quotes | Checks sources weekly, daily or every 6 hours by plan |
The first shortlist usually takes about a minute for a single review page. Larger brands with thousands of reviews take a few minutes on the first run.
Who uses it and how
SaaS marketing teams put the best G2 and Capterra quotes on pricing and signup pages. App founders turn App Store and Google Play reviews into a website wall. Ecommerce and service brands show Google and Trustpilot praise next to the buy button. Customer success leads find NPS promoters who make good case study candidates. Agencies run all of this for many client brands in one workspace, described on the agencies page.
Questions about the process
Do I need to install anything?
No. TestimonialScraper runs in your browser. To publish, you paste one embed code into your site, or use the WordPress block or the Webflow export.
Where do the reviews come from?
Only from public reviews gathered through official APIs, public feeds and public pages that allow it, plus imports you are entitled to use such as your own form answers, NPS exports and support tickets.
Can I change the score or the tags?
Yes. The score and tags are a starting point. You can retag any quote, pin it to a widget or hide it, and your choice wins on every refresh.
What if a review is deleted on the source site?
On the next refresh the quote is marked as removed at the source and taken out of your widgets, so you never show praise that no longer exists.
How do I try it before paying?
Run the demo on the homepage with any public review page. It shows your top quotes without a card. Every plan is paid after that, starting at $49 per month or $24 per month billed yearly.
