TestimonialScraper

Trustpilot widget that shows the reviews worth reading

A Trustpilot profile collects reviews from every kind of customer, from one line ratings to detailed stories. TestimonialScraper reads your public Trustpilot reviews, finds the quotes that actually persuade and shows them on your site next to your reviews from other sources, each one linked to the original.

More than the latest five stars

A feed of your newest Trustpilot reviews shows whatever came in last week. That is rarely the review that convinces a new buyer. TestimonialScraper looks at all of your public Trustpilot reviews and puts the most specific, most useful quotes forward.

  • Collects public reviews from your Trustpilot business profile
  • Scores every quote from 0 to 100 for detail, clarity and persuasion
  • Groups quotes by topic, such as delivery, support, quality, value or ease of use
  • Lets you show a different set of quotes on each page
  • Mixes Trustpilot quotes with Google reviews, G2, Capterra and app stores in one widget

Every quote in the widget shows the reviewer's words as written, the reviewer name as Trustpilot shows it, the star rating Trustpilot publishes for that review, the review date and a link to the review on Trustpilot.

How it works in four steps

  1. Add your Trustpilot profile. Paste the public address of your business page on Trustpilot.
  2. We collect the reviews. We use official interfaces and public pages that allow it, or a review export you own as the business. We do not need anyone's password.
  3. You choose the quotes. Sort by strength score, filter by topic or rating and hide anything you do not want on your site.
  4. You publish. Copy one embed code, or export to Webflow, WordPress, HTML, CSV or JSON depending on your plan.

New reviews arrive with the refresh of your plan, from weekly on Brand to every 6 hours on White Label, and you approve what goes live.

What we keep from Trustpilot

FieldWhat the widget can show
QuoteThe review title and text exactly as published, or trimmed with a visible ellipsis
AuthorReviewer name as Trustpilot displays it
CountryThe reviewer country, when Trustpilot shows it
Verified labelThe verified label, when Trustpilot publishes it for that review
RatingThe star rating Trustpilot publishes for that review
DateThe date the review was published
LinkA direct link to the original review on Trustpilot

Some businesses also want to show their overall Trustpilot score. Trustpilot has its own rules for how its score and stars may be displayed, so we show each quote with its source and link and leave the overall score to the tools Trustpilot provides for that purpose.

One widget for every source

Customers who leave a Trustpilot review often also review you on Google or in an app store. Our review aggregator merges the same review posted in two places, and a single review widget shows the best quotes from all of them, each with a small source badge. If Google is your second biggest source, the Google reviews widget page explains how official place data works.

Trustpilot widget questions

Is this the official Trustpilot widget?

No. TestimonialScraper is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Trustpilot. We show selected public reviews as quotes with source links, alongside reviews from other sites. Trustpilot and other source names are trademarks of their owners.

Can I choose which Trustpilot reviews appear?

Yes. You approve every quote, and you can hide any quote with one click. It disappears from every widget on the next refresh.

Do you edit the text of Trustpilot reviews?

No. Quotes stay in the reviewer's exact words. If you allow trims, every cut is marked with an ellipsis and the link to the full review stays next to the quote.

Will lower rated reviews disappear from Trustpilot?

No. We never change anything on Trustpilot. Your profile stays exactly as it is, and buyers can always follow the link to read every review.

How many Trustpilot reviews can you analyze?

It depends on your plan, from 1,000 reviews analyzed per month on Brand to 200,000 on White Label. See the pricing page.
